Who we are
Sending Messenger is a courier and messenger service. This website is the business's own management system: it is used by the business owner to run the business and by customers to view and pay their invoices.
What information we keep
- Customer details you give us to arrange deliveries: name, company, phone number, email address, and pickup and drop-off addresses.
- Job and invoice records: what was delivered, when, where, the price, and payment status.
- Payment records: amounts, dates, and method. Card numbers are never stored on this website.
- Emails we send you (invoices, receipts, reminders) and whether they were delivered.
- Technical logs needed to keep the site secure, such as sign-in attempts and changes to records.
How we use it
Only to provide the delivery service, send invoices and receipts, take payments, and keep accurate business records. We do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.
Email sending through Google
Invoices, receipts, reminders, and account emails are sent from the business's Gmail account using Google's Gmail API. The website's access to Google is limited to sending email on the business's behalf. It does not read, search, or store the contents of the mailbox. The business owner can revoke this access at any time in the website's settings or in their Google account permissions.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website, and is protected by encryption in transit and access controls. Payment card processing, when enabled, is handled by the card processor; card data is entered directly with the processor and never passes through this website.
Your choices
Contact us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Financial records that the business must keep for accounting are retained as required by law.
